As a Prosthodontist(board-certified prosthodontist) , Dr. Igor Chikunov has years of postgraduate education and training. This gives him the necessary skills to provide his patients with the state-of-the-art techniques and procedures to treat diverse and complex dental conditions and to restore these conditions to optimum function and beauty. Cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, crowns, dentures, and maxillofacial prosthetics are all services offered to his patients.
Dr. Igor Chikunov received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the New York University, College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Chikunov went on to become a Prosthodontist and continued his education, successfully completing the three year, full time The Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New York University.
Continuing his studies, Dr. Chikunov became a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, earning his degree at Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Dental Oncology Fellowship Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Currently combining his private practice in Tribeca Dental Studio with teaching future dentists as well as doctors who further their career to specialize in prosthodontics and implant dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Prosthodontics.
